Terms
Last updated 8 November 2026
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and ElvoStack LLP, India ("FeeSure", "we", "us"). They cover the FeeSure app, our websites, the pay pages and any help we give you (together, the "service"). They take effect on 8 November 2026.
By signing in you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you use FeeSure for an academy, you agree on its behalf and confirm you have the authority to do so. "You" then means both you and the academy.
2. What FeeSure does
FeeSure helps academies and tutors in India keep track of recurring fees: students, batches, fee plans, payments, receipts, promises to pay and fee reminders. You can send reminders from your own WhatsApp, where FeeSure writes the message for you. If you link a WhatsApp Business number, FeeSure can also send reminders and payment receipts from that number for you. Messages go in English, Hindi or Tamil, as you set for each student. Each student also has a private payment page that shows the amount due and your UPI or payment link.
3. Who can use it
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law.
- You must run the academy, or have its permission, to use FeeSure for it.
- FeeSure is a business tool. Use it for your teaching business, not for personal or household purposes.
- Sign-in needs an Indian (+91) mobile number.
4. Your account and its security
- You sign in with a one-time code sent to your phone. Keep your phone and codes to yourself: anyone who signs in with your number can see your records.
- Give us accurate details and keep them up to date.
- You are responsible for everything done in your account, including by staff you invite. You choose each staff member's access and branches, and you can change or remove it at any time.
- If FeeSure warns you about a sign-in you do not recognise, tap Sign out everywhere. If you think someone else got in, or you lose your phone, tell us at once.
5. Your data
You own the records you add ("your data"), including details of students. You give us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process, transmit and display your data only as needed to run, secure, support and improve the service for you, and as the law requires. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
For the personal data of your students and staff, your academy is the data fiduciary (controller) and FeeSure is your data processor. We process that data only on your instructions, which are these terms and the way you use the app. Our privacy policy sets out the details.
We may use anonymous, aggregated figures that do not identify you or anyone in your records to run and improve FeeSure.
6. Your duties for the people in your records
- Have a lawful reason to hold each person's details, and give them any notice the law requires.
- Students are often under 18. Where the law requires it, get verifiable consent for a child before you add the child's details. FeeSure relies on you for this.
- Have each person's agreement before you remind them about fees on WhatsApp or by any other channel, including messages FeeSure sends from your linked number. Stop when they ask you to.
- Check the fees, dates, amounts and phone numbers you enter. Messages are sent from them.
- Add only what you need to collect fees. Do not put health, caste, religion, financial account, password or other sensitive details in notes.
- Answer requests from those people about their data (to see, correct or delete it). You can do all of this in the app. We will help where we reasonably can.
7. WhatsApp and messages
- You are the sender of every reminder and receipt, whether you send it from your own WhatsApp or FeeSure sends it from your linked number for you. You are responsible for every message.
- If you link a WhatsApp Business number, it stays in your WhatsApp Business app. FeeSure sends from it using message templates approved by Meta. You must also follow Meta's WhatsApp Business terms and Business Messaging Policy, which require each recipient's opt-in.
- Meta charges for each message sent from a linked number. These charges are included in your FeeSure plan, unless your plan says otherwise.
- AI replies (add-on): if you ask us to set it up, Meta's business AI answers messages on your number using the FAQs and fee details we give it with your agreement. Meta's terms apply to it, and we do not control what it writes. You are responsible for those replies, so keep the details you give us correct and tell us when they change.
- Do not use FeeSure for spam, marketing blasts, threats, harassment or misleading messages. Follow Indian rules on unsolicited commercial communication.
- Meta can limit, block or ban a number at its own discretion. We are not responsible for that, or for changes Meta makes to WhatsApp.
8. Money: what FeeSure is not
- FeeSure never holds, receives or moves money. Students pay you directly, for example by UPI, cash or your own payment link. We are not a bank, payment aggregator, payment gateway or escrow.
- Payments in FeeSure are what you record. Check each payment in your bank or UPI app before you record it.
- FeeSure receipts are payment receipts, not tax invoices. You are responsible for your own taxes, GST and accounts.
- We are not a party to the arrangement between you and your students. Fee disputes, refunds and amounts owed are between you and them.
- FeeSure does not give financial, tax or legal advice.
9. Plans and charges
FeeSure is free during the pilot. Settings › Plan shows planned prices for reference only, and nothing is charged yet. Plan limits, such as the number of active students, may apply.
We may start charging, or change prices, later. We will tell you in the app at least 30 days before any charge applies to you, and you can stop using FeeSure before then. Prices will be shown before you agree to pay. GST and other applicable taxes will be added where the law requires.
10. Fair use
Do not, and do not let anyone else:
- break the law, or anyone else's rights, using FeeSure;
- try to reach another academy's data, or test, probe or get around our security or limits;
- overload, scrape, copy, resell or reverse engineer the service, except where the law allows it;
- upload malware, or content that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory or infringing;
- use FeeSure to build a competing product.
11. Other services
FeeSure works with services run by others, such as WhatsApp (Meta), Google Firebase sign-in, UPI apps, your payment link provider and your browser's push service. Their own terms apply to your use of them. We do not control them and are not responsible for them.
12. New and test features
Some features are new, in testing, or switched on for some academies only. They are provided as they are, may change or be removed at any time, and may not work as well as the rest of FeeSure.
13. Our intellectual property and your feedback
FeeSure, its software, design and brand belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is open. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely, without any duty to you.
14. Pausing or closing an account
- You can stop using FeeSure at any time and delete your academy from Settings › Account.
- We may pause, limit or close an account that breaks these terms, puts the service or other people at risk, or where the law requires. Where it is practical and lawful, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.
- We may stop offering FeeSure. If we do, we will give you at least 30 days' notice, unless that is not possible.
15. Your data when an account closes
Before you leave, download your records from Settings › Export data. After you ask us to delete your academy, or after we close it, we delete your data as described in our privacy policy. Deleted data cannot be recovered.
16. No guarantees
We work to keep FeeSure running and your data safe, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, that reminders or receipts will be delivered or read, or that any fee will be paid. Reminders and receipts can fail or arrive late, so check their status in FeeSure and follow up yourself where it matters. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot lose.
17. Limits on our liability
- To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost fees, profits, revenue, goodwill or data.
- We are not liable for messages sent based on wrong data you entered, such as a wrong amount, date or phone number, or for messages that Meta delays, blocks or fails to deliver.
- Our total liability for all claims about FeeSure is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and ₹5,000.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, or anything else that the law does not allow to be limited.
18. Your promise to cover us
You will compensate us for any claims, fines, losses and reasonable costs (including legal fees) that arise from your data, the messages you send or that FeeSure sends for you, your breach of these terms or the law, or a dispute between you and your students or staff.
19. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as network or power failures, outages at our providers, natural events, epidemics, strikes, war, or government action.
20. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app at least 15 days before it applies, unless a law or a security issue needs it sooner. If you keep using FeeSure after that, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, stop using FeeSure and delete your academy.
21. Law and disputes
These terms follow the laws of India. Please contact us first, and we will try to settle any dispute in good faith within 30 days. If we cannot, the dispute will be decided by a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat of arbitration is Tamil Nadu, India, and it will be held in English. Subject to that, the courts in Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer, nothing here takes away rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. If you live in the European Union, you also keep the mandatory protections of the law where you live.
22. General
- These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between us about FeeSure.
- If a part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
- If we do not enforce a right straight away, we do not give it up.
- You may not transfer these terms without our written consent. We may transfer them to a company that takes over FeeSure, and will tell you if we do.
- We send notices in the app or to the contact details you gave us. Send yours to support@feesure.in.
23. Grievance officer
For complaints about FeeSure or content on it, contact our grievance officer: Alfred, grievance@feesure.in, ElvoStack LLP, India. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days.
